Video - Panta Rei Danseteater 'Lullaby'
Norwegian dance company Panta Rei Danseteater, late last year, conducted a little experiment whereby three dance makers created two pieces with the same name based on the same idea, featuring three male dancers and two musicians, to see what the outcome was.

Do you work in dance? Are you looking to win some money? Are those lottery numbers just not working out for you? Do you want to meet like minded single people in your area? (I think that's from your own personal ad, get on with it! Ed!)
The Jerwood Charitable Foundation is launching a new prize to reward the efforts of those that work in "digital moving art" with three prizes of £10,000 up for grabs.
According to the press release we have the following;
"Encompassing a wide range of artistic practice, from film, documentary, video and music to dance, installation and drawing, the Jerwood Moving Image Awards welcome work from across many disciplines. The awards will celebrate and support artists in the early stages of their careers, and bring some of today’s most exciting talent in digital art to new audiences, via both the website and next year’s Jerwood Space exhibition."
Leading the committee, that will decide the winners, will be our very own, polished noggin, dance maker Wayne McGregor along with a bunch of other folks you have probably never heard of. Interestingly (playing it fast and loose with that word eh? Ed!), one of the judges is Professor John Maeda, head of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Media Lab. So there will be some heavy weight brains involved in this process.
If you want to play then you have to be a UK resident, have graduated from a "recognised" education institution in the last 10 years or exhibited your work in the same period. So if you got your degree from Zebedee's Magic Roundabout University in Milton Keynes you are out of luck!
The selection process is fairly torturous. Initially 30 artists will be selected by January 18th, 2008. Then there will be a people's vote, a final eight and then a final three, websites and iPods will be involved. It will all come grinding to a halt in March 2008 when the final winners will be announced.
You have until December 3rd to get your entries in. More info on their website.
