Video - Panta Rei Danseteater 'Lullaby'
Norwegian dance company Panta Rei Danseteater, late last year, conducted a little experiment whereby three dance makers created two pieces with the same name based on the same idea, featuring three male dancers and two musicians, to see what the outcome was.

One of the bright new hopes for contemporary dance choreography will be appearing at The Place in London for three nights with a series of new works.
Israeli dance maker Hofesh Shecter will premiere a brand new piece, 'Uprising', alongside two current pieces of work, 'Cult' (featured on Article19) and 'Fragments', a duet. The press blurb tells us this much;
"A premier of Uprising, a piece for 7 men, commissioned by the Robin Howard Foundation and supported by Arts Council England, will be presented as part of a triple-bill along side Cult, winner of the Audience Choice Award at The Place Prize 2004 and the duet Fragments, winner of the Grand Prix at the Serge Diaghilev Choreography Competition 2004."
Also in the world of Hofesh we have learned he will be the new associate artist at The Point in Eastleigh as part of that organisations 10th anniversary. The Point is a cultural development center focusing on all things artistic and creative, they do other things besides develop dance but we don't really care too much about that.
Starting in September this year they will begin operation of a space devoted to the creation of new dance work, year round. Mr Shechter is the first of their associate artists.
The company will be performing in London at The Robin Howard Theatre on June 22, 23, 24. The company will launch its associate stint in Eastleigh on September 22nd.
