OK, not quite but sort of. Arts Council England (ACE) has launched what they are describing as the "Artists' International Development Fund" that allows you, an artist, to get all international and "develop".
What they expect you develop into is not at all clear but the long and the short of it is this. Apply and you could receive £1,000 - £5,000 to travel overseas and work with other people in the wide world of dance.
The total fund is £750,000 which is not a whole lot even if everybody who applies only gets the minimum amount. Unusually for the Big Bad, funding applications can only be made online so follow the link below for some hot, application action!
ACE's press release does have a lot of boiler plate comments from people in suits but we imagine you, our dear readers, are as interested in that as we are in paying for a subscription to the Dancing Times!
