Video - Panta Rei Danseteater 'Lullaby'

Not literally of course but the creative's of Dun Laoghaire in Ireland have put together a new piece and the premiere of that work is on November 7th in the only country in the world that matches Scotland for charm!
This time out the company are collaborating with the French to create 'Slow Down', their press release speaks thus;
"..in a special collaboration with the Paris-based choreographer Martine Pisani. In this playground for six dancers, Slow Down explores the insignificant troubles, the practical jokes, the awkwardness, and the barricades that make human relationships come alive. Other worlds come to mind: Charlie Chaplin's or Jaques Tati's Six characters reveal secrets and obstacles of a public performance. Their hesitation, lost orientation, inarticulate declarations, and movement sequences, find irony in the everyday demands of discipline, creativity, concentration and ardour."
Following the premiere the show goes on tour. For the moment this tour is confined to Southern Ireland but somebody in the funding world might just get a grip and let this excellent company out of Ireland for a while. The show runs from November 7th until the 10th at the Pavilion Theatre in Dun Laoghaire, kicking off at 8pm. Full tour information in our listings!
