Norwegian dance company Panta Rei Danseteater, late last year, conducted a little experiment whereby three dance makers created two pieces with the same name based on the same idea, featuring three male dancers and two musicians, to see what the outcome was.

Following strong criticism from around the world of its policy towards Israeli dance companies and dance makers, Dance Europe has removed a world wide listing of dance companies from its website. A list that excluded all Israeli companies but included a dance company from Palestine, which is not yet a country.
Following denials by the editor, Emma Manning, that a policy of not featuring Israeli's sans a written condemnation of their governments policies towards the Palestinians even exists, Dance Europe appear to have taken the only other step they could short of renouncing the policy and apologising.
One Blogger mused in their headline to a post "Dance Europe, taking its ball and going home". That would appear to be the most accurate description of the magazines attitude to the entire issue.
Dance Europe have consistently declined to provide any comment to Article19.
