Updates
Apologies for the lack of updates at present. We are currently putting together a feature on contemporary dance in Australia. Lack of proper Internet access has prevented us from updating live from down under along with some other hitches that are causing us some headaches.
A couple of weeks from now we will bring you the complete feature replete with video and images (although not as much video as we would have liked).

IBM 401 in Spain
The most popular video on Article19 last year was the titular IBM401. The work continues to be toured throughout this year and Erna Omarsdottir and Johann Johannsson will be up next in Madrid at the Teatro Pradillo, Madrid, Spain, 19th, 20th and 21st of February 20:30 as part of the Festival Escena Contemporanea.
If you're a contemporary dance follower and you happen to be in Spain then you really do need to see this work live to appreciate the craft of it and the abilities of the two performers.
See the features page for more information.

Workindance.com
The Foundation for Community Dance (FCD) and DanceUK have launched a new website that might actually be of some use to professional dancers looking for a bit of guidance.
Workindance.com features a wide range of resources covering everything from careers information to funding help and inside stories on working as a professional dancer written by professional dancers. A lot of the writing content is culled from the print publication Animated also released by FCD.
Navigating the site is a little confusing at first but once you get the hang of it you should be able to find what you're looking for.
Sexy it's not, but it is a handy reference tool; so clickety-click and let them know if something breaks.
