Audition 'The Royal Opera House (UK)'

Closes on March 5, 2017 and is for Male and Female dancers

Turandot, Puccini's Chinese fable, is a Royal Opera production with choreography by Kate Flatt. This revival of the celebrated staging by Andrei Serban features ten dancers who are masked, and the choreography comments throughout the production on the action and story of the opera.
We are looking for both male and female dancers to complete the team of dancers. Applicants should have a minimum of three years professional experience of different styles of repertoire, and a professional training in both classical and contemporary dance. Knowledge of martial arts and Tai Chi is an advantage.

The audition will take place on Thursday 9 March, 16.00 - 18.00.
Auditions will be invitation only.
Start of rehearsals: 30 May 
Stage rehearsals: 27 June -3 July
Dress rehearsal: 3 July (16.30)
4 performances of Cast A on July 5 (19.30), 9 (18.30), 12 (12.30), 15 (12.30) and 4 Cast B on July 8 (12.30), 11 (19.30), 14 (19.30), 16 (11.30). 
The fee will be £380.58 a week (inclusive of holiday payment) plus a £155 fee per performance.
