A Podcast is simply an audio file wrapped up in some clever technology to make listening to it an interactive and easy experience. The name might suggest that you require an iPod - Apple's omnipresent music player - to listen but this couldn't be further from the truth.
All you need is iTunes - from Apple - which is a completely free download from their own website for both Apple OSX and Microsoft Windows and you are all set.
When you click on the 'play podcast' button, located on Podcast enabled interviews, iTunes will launch and take you to Article19's Podcast page on the iTunes Music Store - don't worry all of our content is free of charge - hit the download button and the Podcast will be downloaded to your computer, it will only take a moment since the audio files are very small.
You can also subscribe to the Podcast via iTunes and the software will automatically download new Podcasts as and when they appear.
Article19 utilises 'Enhanced Podcasts' that include chapter markers so you can quickly locate key elements within the interview and jump straight to them, just click the chapter button - illustrated on the left - and select from the drop down list - simple.
