Normally when you are watching a documentary on the television everything has already happened and the conclusion is probably already known to the masses. New York City Ballet is having a crack at avoiding that by running an online 'work in progress' website produced and presented by one of their own dancers.

Kristin Sloan, creator of the multi dancer 'Winger' weblog, will present a weekly video update of the goings on behind the scenes of one of the worlds biggest ballet companies as they make ready a brand new production of 'Romeo and Juliet'.

Now we know it's ballet but it will do you no harm to see how the other half lives, just for a while.

NYCB are fairly fortunate that they have a dancer with a flair for writing, presenting and shooting video who is willing to do all of this during her recovery from a long term injury.

You can keep up to date with the production at the link below. Updates will continue until May 1st when the show premieres.
