South East Dance Festival

Dance Festivals, you don't see one for ages then, for reasons past understanding, two come along at once and run on exactly the same dates! The dates are not just close, they are exactly the same.
The South East Dance 'Dance For Camera" festival kicks off in Brighton on November 30th and runs through December 2nd, just like the other festival in London!
Of particular interest, or not as the case may be, at this gathering will be the UK premiere of 'In The Flesh', a 3D computerised "virtual" dancer by Bill Cowie and a retrospective of dance films past. Adding to the mix will be many UK premieres of dance films from around the globe including a preview of some recently completed films from a collaboration between Channel 4, ABC Australia and the notoriously poor MJW Productions.
If you are up for it then the festival runs at three separate venues in Brighton over the course of the three days. Ticket prices are between £4 to £8 with some events free of charge. A festival pass can be had for £45 or £40 if you're poor!
We would also suggest that somebody from one of these festivals buys a calendar because clashing two dance film festivals on exactly the same dates is the reason we get to make fun of people all the time!
