Get Your Vox On!!
The Latest News || Sunday, 26 November, 2006

Recently launched 'social networking' web site Vox is the latest competitor in a crowded space dominated by the unrelentingly awful MySpace.
Vox is a little bit different in that it is focused less on racking up large numbers of 'friends' for no apparent reason and more on excellent design and actually being useful.
Developed by SixApart, the company that makes MovableType, The feature set is heavily focused on blogging and sharing images and video, among other things, which is ideal if you're a dance company on a small budget (hands up who's in a company that doesn't fit that particular bill?) The quality of the video once uploaded and online is a little bit smudgy to say the least, just keep it short and small.
You can of course develop connections with people all over the world, Vox calls it your 'neighbourhood', to help get the word out about what your company or you personally are up to in the wide world of dance.
As with almost everything on internet it is completely free of charge and can be set up in a matter of minutes even by the most sausage fingered computer user and there are dozens of themes to choose from.
If you don't want to go down the route of using Blogger and Flickr as we suggested in our feature piece then this is the next best thing.
