Forbidden Remembered

Here in TheLab™ it is cold, very cold, even the giant rats are complaining about the lack of heat. Since it costs an arm and a leg, literally, to turn on the wood burning stove we shall warm ourselves with thoughts of the past.

This summer Article19 was responsible for covering the 'Forbidden A Tale of Love and War' outdoor performance in Herefordshire, which is a real place, in the South West of England.

Created by dance maker Helen Parlor the work told the story of two lovers who, being a bit dim-witted, drowned in a river while trying to escape their feuding families. Not before doing a lot of larking about in Goodrich Castle though, as illustrated by this super summer dance show.

We remember it fondly. It was warm, it was outside and it was in a giant castle. The only way to spend the summer! Photos and a video documentary below. Send spare blankets and logs for the fire to the usual address.

Anybody sending us a dvd of a fire burning will be looked upon with sympathy and scorn in equal measure!
