Dance Films Wanted

The Latest News || Sunday, 5 August, 2007

South East Dance, one of England's National Dance Agencies, is looking for new dance films for their 'Dance For Camera' Festival in Brighton from 30th November until December 2nd.

There are only two restrictions being placed on the films you can submit. The film must have been made after October 2005 and it can be no longer than 30 minutes. Otherwise, anything goes. Deadline is 31st August.

It is slightly worrying that they ask for submissions on either DVD or VHS since VHS is a video format that needs to die very quickly indeed. If you submit your entry on this antiquated format then shame on you!!

Entry to the festival is free but you don't get paid for having your film shown. Entry forms are available at the link below.

Correction: South East Dance will pay a one off fee if your film is chosen for screening.
