Anjali Youth on the TeeVee

The Latest News || Friday, 10 November, 2006

Next week Channel4 will broadcast four short - very short actually at only 3 minutes each - dance films as part of a series entitled '3 Minute Wonders'.

This particular part of the series is for youth dance and one of the companies that was chosen to appear is part of Anjali Dance Company a UK based group who's members all have learning difficulties of some kind.

The press blurb tells us;

"From 55 applicants, Anjali Dance Company was one of four youth dance groups selected for this project. Six young dancers, who attend Anjali’s accredited courses and other education and outreach programmes, worked with film director Charlotte Miles and Anjali Education Director Susan Norwood to rehearse and create ‘Do You See Me’."

November 13th is the start date for the series at 7.55pm on Channel4 in the UK, Anjali's is on Wednesday 15th at the same time. One film will run at that time each night until the 16th.

Here in TheLab™ we don't watch broadcast television so make sure if you have a set you make an effort to tune in and show them some support.
