Arts Council England, exhibiting a level of awareness almost unheard from them, have commissioned a survey into pensions awareness for artists backed up with a website that will tell you everything you always wanted to know about pensions and why you can't afford one!

Apparently 60% of all artists will end up with little or no financial coverage when they retire and if that doesn't scare you then all dancers should take a long hard look at how little you get paid and start worrying!

The website includes an online survey form you can fill in to help ACE get a better idea of how bad the problem is, then, we expect, they will tell us all exactly how they are not going to do anything about it (you know we're just saying that so they can prove us wrong, negative re-enforcement, it's all good).
