After some long term analysis, and quite a bit of guessing, we have come to the conclusion that Facebook and Twitter are not a very good way of keeping people up to date with information that may be important to them, especially audition updates.
Facebook in particular has inherent design problems that mean important information might get missed if your news feed is especially busy.
With that in mind we have set up an old fashioned, sort-of, mailing list you can subscribe to to get audition updates delivered to you via email. The main reason for this is we can pretty much guarantee you will get the information because you're in control of your own inbox unlike the vagaries of the Facebook newsfeed and the chaos of the Twitter feed.
How It Will Work
If you are subscribed to the list then each weekday morning, if there are new auditions on Article19 you will receive an email letting you know. We will also include any new classes, workshop or job opportunities from the Shout Board, no more than two of those if they are relevant, and just one link to a new written piece or video on Article19.
As with everything we do it will be short, to the point and devoid of clutter or confusion.
You can remove your subscription from the list with ease using the link at the bottom of any emails you receive from us.
We will keep providing updates via Facebook and Twitter but if that's not working for you then try the email list instead.
Hit the audition page or the Shout Board pages and just put your email address in the box on the right and press the button.
