On The Train

Published Saturday, 7 February, 2009 | Comments

I'm writing this entry now whilst on the train to London courtesy of the free wifi from good old National Express! Yay!

Svenja is sleeping beside me but I don't how she could possibly sleep on the train because I find it all far too exciting, don't want to miss anything!

We had a good rehearsal yesterday. We were joined by David Hughes for a while who gave us some direction and some very useful feedback and actually made us feel better about things.

There have been points throughout the Resolution! rehearsal process that have been difficult and we've had to restrain ourselves from injuring each other because it is not easy collaborating with others, it can be a difficult thing and not plain saling. The bonus we have is that we know each other incredibly well and so it really never lasts for long when we're in disagreement. The great challenge is finding the balance between how we each work.

I'm sorry I've only been writing about Resolution! recently but it is mainly the only thing that's on my mind.

Anyway, I think it will be ok, I can definitely see it now, really see it. Now we just have to do it!

I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to the Scottish Arts Council who have generously supported us to take the piece to Resolution!

Thank you!

Almost in London. Tonight i think we'll go see the a Resolution! performance. It will be nice to see what else is going on.

:)
