Heads up!

Published Saturday, 8 August, 2009 | Comments

It's festival time and for me and many others, the most exciting time of the year. there's so much to see, do, people to meet, the streets are full of thousands of people and it's generally buzzing with energy.

I've seen quite a few shows already, some great stuff, some not so great, but that's the beauty of the Edinburgh Fringe, there's so much to choose from.

What a thrilling time!

Here's my top picks of dance so far:

Iona Kewney - Self Interrupted Exhibition (Iona is Scottish, and ex Les Ballets les C de la B and Wim Wanderkeybus)

Company Chameleon - Rites

Pere Faura - This is a picture of a person I don't know

Matthias Sperling - Riff

Scottish Dance Theatre - Luxuria and A Visitation

Jack Webb - The Bravest Thing You Can Do Is Be Still....

oops did I not mention that I'm showing some work? Indeed I am, I'm showing some work as part of a programme of performances at Dance Base called Heads Up which is a platform during the Fringe showcasing work new and exciting work from emerging artists aswell as established artists.
