Why is it that, when a company is premiering work in the north, many national critics don't bother to review it until it comes south of Watford Gap? ie Phoenix. Why is it that certain critics saw fit to slag off the audience as well as NBT's La Traviata and why is it that certain reviews seem to have been written by a committee?
Here in the Lab we don't really do reviews, with only one exception and that was for Dance on Camera. We imagine that Mackrell and her cronies just don't like the cold weather or their tight fisted editor will not stump for the train fair to the bitter north.
