I work in the arts and read your piece "ACE and the 3 Year Stretch" with interest. I was wondering how you gain access to the detailed figures on a particular company's finances? Does the article reflect all of the money a particular company receives or just what they receive from Arts Council?
The figures quoted only reflects the money given to the companies under their RFO agreement with ACE. It does not include any other funding for touring or special projects that they may have applied for separately. Detailed figures for a particular company are available either direct from each company or you can email ACE and make a Freedom of Information Act Request (UK Residents only) at enquiries@artscouncil.org.uk. We feel sure they will be very pleased to receive your request.
