I run a brand new dance company in Glasgow comprised of 10 girls who have never danced before, 2 with serious illnesses. After six months of getting to know you and basic training we are going to be performing at the Fringe Festival. I liked the idea of working with untrained dancers, movement comes naturally to all of us why train for 20 odd years for perfection and overlook what you have naturally. I know i am crazy but in your opinion is it good exciting and innovative madness or a disaster waiting to happen?

Training can offer a great deal to a young dancer. But of course there is nothing stopping a committed group from working and performing. All we would say is look for recognition for what you do not what you are.
